The Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship, told the way you'll live it: month by month, week by week. Every dot on the line ahead is a week of your journey. Click any one and it opens.
Sixty weeks of connected learning arrive at one place: gateway, then end-point assessment. By then you have rehearsed every part of it: more than once.
A test of applied judgement: realistic adult-care scenarios, each with a set of possible responses, where you choose the best course of action. It draws on everything the programme teaches: values, communication, safeguarding, health and professional practice. Milestone 15 is a full mock, and scenario work runs through every milestone.
A planned, structured conversation with an independent assessor, drawing on your portfolio of work-based evidence across the six themes, your tasks and responsibilities, dignity and respect, communication, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, and your professional development. Milestones 11 to 14 build this directly, and Milestone 15 rehearses it in full.
Every part of this apprenticeship earns its place because it matters at work and it matters to where your career can go. Here is how the main areas of your learning connect to the job you do today and the roles you could grow into.
